AVI Capture Add-in - Question

Options

Hi all,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I'm new here, and new to RS to! We are working on our first project on RS. Until now everything is ok, this is a great tool!! Now the customer wants to see an animation of his future machine. So we added AVI Capture to RS. But when recording a simulation everything runs very slow, an so the final AVI! Not better than Snag it... The only solution was to reduce the quality. Are there any special settings, encoders to use? Who can help me?

System information:

- RS 3.1 2234

- Win2000 SP4

- Pentium 4 2800

- 2Gb RAM

- ATI FireGL X1 AGR Pro 128Mb

do I really need a faster CPU?

Hello,  I am trying to make an AVI movie file for a line tracking station.  When I try to create the AVI and I start the conveyor, the robot seems to fall behind with tracking the part.  Has anyone else tried this, and if so, any suggestions to make this work properly.  I have also tried this using SnagIt.  The same thing happens with this too.

    Thanks,

    Bob

    Hi
There are a couple of settings in the avi recorder that you can play with (avi capture options button)
The settings I use in most of the cases is
    - Capture Frame Rate = 10
    - Playback Frame Rate = 30

    Hello Bob,

In the Conveyor Setup there is a setting called "Compensation Distance". This setting can you use if the robot miss the targets when you run a simulation with a conveyor.
